Y-shaped harness recommendations for a dog that responds best to martingale

I’m looking for harness recommendations for my almost fully grown pup. I get a little confused when looking at different harnesses, I’m not entirely confident on what’s considered Y or H. As silly as it may sound.

She is able to pull out of her medium Funfox harness. I got her a small and medium PetSafe harness and neither fit (too small on her neck then too large on her waist).

She best responds to leash pressure on a martingale. I’m starting to do more in public training though, and she really pulled on her collar today. She was able to settle eventually and do our exercises but I don’t want her to do any damage before we get to that point in our session. I also eventually just want to switch to a harness as we’ll be going on hikes and I’m interested in canicross.

I’ll measure her before buying anything, but I’d really appreciate specific brands and styles – especially if your pup is also high alert and takes a while to settle into new environments, and if they know how to back out of a harness.

ETA: I’m always watching her when she’s in a harness since she can back out. I sometimes have her on a long lead line, so I just worry about her backing out before I can get to her. I’ve used the martingale for this reason but would like a harness I’m confident in.
