I have a five month old golden and we’ve been in the trenches with potty training. We really thought we just weren’t doing something right because our puppy was peeing every 5 minutes. We would take her out every 30 minutes on the dot and still had multiple accidents a day. After a vet visit we found out she had a UTI due to a recessed vulva. The vet said sometimes this corrects with age but sometimes needs surgery. So we treated the uti with amox-clav. Next vet visit a month later they rechecked urine. No bacteria present but crystals still through the roof. They suggested hill science diet cd for two weeks to get those down and then switch to hills sensitive skin and stomach. My issue with this is she’s allowed no treats so I have no idea what to fill kongs with or make lick mats with. Do you all have any suggestions on how I can do enrichment for her?
