I've been using nexgard for years now, and it's great, however, my dogs have all contracted ticks! I currently have 11 dogs, but 5 of those are puppies I'm giving away. Usually I'd be able to buy one box of 3 every half month on payday but now idk what to do, nexgard is super expensive!
From past experience, giving my nursing dog a dose effectively and safely kills her puppies ticks too, but now they're all finished weaning, and I cannot afford that much especially after their hefty food expenses… I mean I can buy those 4 boxes but If I do, then I literally will not be able to afford food for myself… If I buy them bit by bit over 2-3 months, they may come back. Is there any cheaper way to kill them effectively? I'm really considering that 2 week fast.
Edit: before you comment on how I'm an irresponsible and cruel dog owner (likely half true) or you're curious on how I ended up in this situation, I replied to a comment by 'Maleficent_Lecture91'
