So for context, I got a puppy 3 months ago and he is 5 months old now. I named my puppy Toppy, and I took this name from an old japanese comic book character who is a dog that just looks like him.
A few days ago when I took him for a walk, two young ladies came up to us to pet my dog. Naturally they asked for his name and I told them its Toppy. Out of no where they started giggling and said something like "Stop it😂" "Really?😂". At the time I was very confused.
Now, I know why they were giggling and I hate that I know it. Maybe I would've not given the name if I knew before but my puppy knows that it is his name and I personally think it is a cute name.
I guess I wanted to rant and also wanted to know what y'all think… Is it a weird name or should I not worry too much about it.
