Puppy age and crate time?

I have a corgi who will be 5 months old on May 1st. She sleeps in her crate and will put herself in it when she’s tired. My husband is semi retired and the only day our work overlapped was Fridays. I’ve changed my schedule though, to take Fridays off. She’s never left for long periods of time. Obviously, we leave her for things like shopping or going to dinner. But so far I’ve gotten a sitter for her for anything more than 4 hours. How old should she be before she can be crated for 6+ hours. Again, it’ll be pretty rare, but I now stress about making any plans and leaving her home too long.
