Hey everyone. I have a 10 week old Boston Terrier, and I can’t help but feel like I’m failing her. For context, she’s half crate trained. My room is her playpen (it’s a small is room). She goes in her crate throughout the day, I just don’t close the door. Same thing at night time. She knows to go in there for bed, I just don’t close the door.
I made the mistake of setting up puppy pads in my room… I try to take her outside to do her business as often as I can, but I think she has grown accustomed to using the pads. I do not know what to do, because she wake up in the middle of the night to use the pee pads, and she uses them throughout the day when I am not home (I have someone come see her midday to take her out).
How do I minimize the use of the pads?!
