My 18 pound bichapoo absolutely HATES clothes, or anything on his body really. I bought him a Halloween costume one year and he refused to walk and then retaliation peed on the floor while mean mugging my husband and I. The problem is that we just moved to NYC and he is stepping in both unsafe and dirty things constantly.
Today I found fresh, sticky gravel between his paws that he had started to lick (terrified of poisoning and going to the vet when they open) and it’s the final straw. I need to get him a pair of shoes to wear on walks, but I know it’ll be a struggle with him refusing to move in them or trying to get them off. How can I get him used to the shoes? And which kind do you think would be best?
