Home for 36 hours and hates playpen and crate…need help!
We brought home the sweetest Maltipoo (8.5 weeks) yesterday! He has a playpen and crate in our kitchen, but he is whining and crying incessantly unless someone is in his playpen with him (even if we’re standing next to the playpen in the kitchen). We’ve been trying to sit with him for a few minutes, calm him down, and then resume being in the kitchen…it’s getting slightly better, but it’s tough to see him in distress all day.
He’s gotten better about the crate…he’ll go in there to nap, but can’t stay asleep unless we’re in the playpen.
Any tips? Ideas? Open ears!

My dog has been going to the spare room at night and pooping on the bed there. He is a Shihtzu, i take him out after dinner but only twice he has done that though.. do i need to change his routine? When shud i take him for a walk
Should i get my dog training? But i think it has more to do with his walk time.

My Chug always bites my wife yet is extremely attached to her. She doesn't bite me at all. Does anyone know the reason why?

Need help/advice with teenager pup biting/mouthing/humping
My 9 month old golden sometimes drives me absolutely crazy with this behavior. I'm having some trouble managing his energy and accidentally getting him over tired and he turns into the devil. He's really mouthy and will jump up and try to hump me. Sometimes reverse time outs work, other times he will still be there by the door waiting for me 10 minutes later. I feel bad putting him in his crate when he's like this because he's still riled up and barks for a long time and I don't want him to see the crate as punishment. I'll wait for him to calm down a bit and make him sit/down for a while before letting him out again. Of course all this stuff usually happens at night.
Our routine is wake up around 7-7:30. Hang out for about 30 minutes and then out to potty and go on a 30-45 minute walk. Then I'll give him his food and he just chills and napa for a while. Back out for another potty break around 130-2pm. Since it's hot, I keep it short. I'll mix in some training sessions throughout the day and also give him stuff to tear up and/or chews (bully sticks/pig ears/frozen carrots). Usually another nap until Around 5pm when we go out and play fetch for like 30 minutes. Dinner is at about 630 or 7pm. He'll get bitey/humpy and usually I take him out to poop around 8pm. Depending on how he seems it'll be a chill sniff and casual stroll or a walk around a few blocks. A lot of the time he will act like a terror when we get back.

Tell me your experience with leash walking
Hi everyone. I'm just wondering how is leash walking going? Is it enjoyable? Stressful? What type of training are you using? Did you teach your puppy to heel or keep the leash loose? I wanted to teach my puppy just to keep a loose leash but he's so friggin overstimulating, going round and round me, trying to sniff anything in our vicinity. I enjoy him so much almost all of the time. I love off-leash hiking with him. But oh my gosh, I feel like if I lived somewhere where I could only exercise him on leash, I'd be rehoming him! Worst part of my day! I realize he's a puppy and that I need to out more time into training. I guess thats the purpose of this post. How's it going for you and what have you been doing.

Solde pour l’achat d’un chiot
Bonjour
J'ai versé un acompte pour la réservation d'un chiot. Et là, soit 1 mois avant d'aller le chercher, l'éleveur me demande le solde. Est-ce normal ?

Dog destroyed door frame. Please help!!
Hi everyone, it’s my first time posting here but I could really use some help. My dog (3years old Australian shepherd mixed with Great Pyrenees) recently started destroying stuff around the house. It started with him opening cupboards and chewing on reusable bags then cardboards but now it’s serious since he started chewing the door frame and almost got it out. I tried putting some lemon juice on the edges and vinegar but nothing is stopping this dog. Everything is ok with him (he eats fine, his poop is fine) so I’m assuming he is not doing it cause he is in pain and trying to distract. I take him out for long walk as per usual in the morning before work so our routine hasn’t been changed either. I don’t know what’s going on so please kind strangers help me out. I can’t attached the image of what he did today but it’s really bad. I’m gone for 7 hours since I work but I don’t go out at all after that. (Not sure if the tag I choose is correct one I apologize in advance)
