I have a 5 month old Shorkie. She has been crate trained for 6 weeks now – no accidents. She is also 100% trained to go potty every time I take her to her area in the backyard. The problem is she pees in the house every time she is out of her crate for even a minute, even if she has just gone pee outside. I’ve had her since July and she has basically been in her crate or outside. I thought I would let her out of the crate for a few minutes and build up the time but she has never gotten beyond the 5-10 min mark before peeing inside. I only let her roam the house if she has peed outside. Any thoughts?

I have a new 10 week old shih tzu. She's spunky and tiny. My son paid alot of💰for this 'replacement' companion for me & I fear that I will sleep to heavy & not hear her in distress, etc… I'm 15 yrs older now & much more set in my ways since I last had a newborn puppy!! Fatigue is a real thing. I need a times in and out type schedule idea that has worked for any of you guys…Please & Thanks I need some rest🐶😫

Hey all, next week we are adopting a 7 month old lurcher cross girl from our local shelter. She is super sweet and intelligent but has lived in kennels for a while so isn’t housetrained or anything like that. I have been watching lots of YouTube videos about training etc. but any advice, tips and tricks from those who have “been through it” would be more than appreciated!

Hi, I'm in the process of upgrading my dogs gear to mostly leather based since the collar and leashes made from fabric like materials (mostly polyester I guess?) doesn't hold up that well to our lifestyle and I'd rather buy something that will last a lifetime.

But I'm having a bit of a problem choosing what color to go with, black, dark brown, tan? 😅

My dog is mostly black & tan but also has some white on his chest, tail and paws. I tried adding a picture but I'm unable to.

TLDR, What color leather to use on a mostly black dog?
