I'm (most likely) moving from the US to Spain. I have a mini Dachshund that I don't think is cut out to ride in a cage with the checked luggage.
What should I know about brining her on a long international flight? Any advice?

Does your dog turn his head when he hears an odd noise? Does your dog bury their food with your pants? This is the thread to ask why.
Please keep this thread to non-medical issues only.

Which pet insurance is best for you? Are there any that may cover your dog's current treatment? Did your dog get injured during the waiting period and want to know if you're covered?
Here's the place to ask.
Do know we cannot help you here with medical concerns, and lying or not disclosing things to the insurance company is illegal so we don't allow that either.

My dog loves going to the dog park usually, today however she was acting anxious on the way and pinned down a golden, she's a boxer, golden is fine, not even shaken. But its odd for her any advice or reasons this might have happened? She's never immediately not liked any other dog before.

So I’m getting my very first dog in two weeks and I’m a little nervous about how to make him comfortable in his new space.
What should I do? Should I give him space? Should I keep him on a leash?
Any help would be awesome!

When you leave home, do you leave multiple dogs out alone together loose in the house? Do you crate one or more dogs to avoid issues? Our trainer says that she never recommends leaving multiple dogs loose in the house even if they love each other 100% of the time and have never fought. Curious to see what most people do as we just got a puppy and have a six-year-old dog. We plan to keep the puppy crated and our other dog loose since he’s not destructive and never has been. She’s a question mark on that front lol

I have a 9 year old GSP x Kelpie x Lab; for some background; she grew up with another older dog who is now gone and she had training as a pup.
Recently, she has been pulling plants out of the garden, not really digging, more just ripping the plant clean out of the ground. I have never encountered this issue before and am so unsure how to correct this (she also does dig which is driving us mental but that's another, smaller issue).
We've tried spending more time with her inside and out, playing and getting more toys (she doesn't play with them unfortunately for us), she tends to do this behaviour when I am away from the home and when we return will hide from us as we have told her off for doing it.
Any ideas on what we can do to stop her from doing this? We've considered a small, decorative fence along the garden bed or sectioning off part of the yard so she can't access the spot (though we're worried this will encourage her to dig more into the grass).
