Hi! My husband and I just got our first puppy yesterday. It’s a female golden retriever, that is 11 weeks old. We have been told that she absolutely cannot go outside until after she has her second vaccination. We were told she can’t even be in our fenced in yard.
I’ve been reading a lot about potty training, and have seen that training with puppy pads is not great, and can cause issues later. Is there any way for us to start training her now? We are fine with cleaning up her messes, but I don’t want her starting to think that it’s okay to just go anywhere, anytime. Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated!
