Is Royal Canin dog specific (cocker spaniel) food really much better the normal Royal Canin food?

We are getting a ECS puppy and our breeder has sent us some food that he is currently on. We wont be changing his diet so soon but are just wondering if the dog specific food is just premium pricing but similar to the nornal puppy food of the same brand?

Cocker specific food only comes in the 3kg bag which will last ~14 days but the normal food would have option for bigger bags.

It does say it's tailored to whats cockers need but i am wary of marketing scams (or over exaggeration)
