I have a 5 month old SBT pup and he's generally doing really well. Today we took him to an open air museum and it was very busy in the entrance area, he had a complete meltdown barking and making a scene. He also cried and yowled when I went to the toilet ( he was with my husband).
He pulled the whole time and when we stopped when he pulled he rolled around on the floor again barking and yelping having a proper frustrated tantrum with himself.
What would you do to address this behaviour?
The entrance hall behaviour was loud and embarrassing but I tried to get his attention on me and ask him to sit / down which he did a bit but he was just overwhelmed- what would be the best way not to reinforce this?
The pulling we are working on, and he was getting better later on in a quieter place. He just doesn't seem to realise if he walked nicely he would be able to keep going and get where he wants to go!
Any advice ? Thoughts?
God its like having a toddler again!
Tldr: dealing with overwhelmed behaviour, and frustration from puppy.
