I've been raising a demon in the making and I want to off myself. we found Bruno when he was around 15-20 days old alone in an empty plot so we started giving him formula milk and had to bring him in due to insane rainfalls and hailstorms. we have 3 cats and one of them (a tortie) has chronic ibd and is extremely territorial so she stays away with me in my bedroom away from the other 2 cats and goes out whenever I'm out to supervise her.
the puppy we've brought in also stays with us in my bedroom and he is almost 2.5 months old. his behaviour seems to get worse everyday and I feel like it is not only putting stress on me but also my cat. I'm a university student i have classes and I'll have my exams soon. I've been not getting enough sleep because of Bruno as I have to run on a tight schedule for him to keep his routine.
he screams bloody murderer whenever I'm about to give him food and the neighbours are done with us. no matter how much I've tried with positive reinforcements he just doesn't understand. he has also been resource guarding a lot even after training him to "leave" on command and swapping anything in his mouth with something else that is interesting to him. today he bit my arm and shook it really hard while I grabbed the wipe from him while giving him his toy. he ate it…
I've been keeping him tethered whenever I'm with him in the same room but still after a while of getting him tethered he still whines and barks when he hears someone else downstairs since I live with my family. my family chooses not to help with the pup as they're busy as well and I feel like I can't help him either. maybe idk how to raise and train a pup
he also still barks and runs after our cats to him he's playing with them but not to our cats
I've been thinking of rehoming him since I can't give attention to my cat who has a disease and also because I'm extremely tired and exhausted. few people even asked me today if I haven't slept and I honestly haven't.
