As the title says! I have a 13wk Corgi/Border Collie Mix and we have been struggling to find a treat that works for motivation and rewarding during training.
We’ve been using boiled chicken and he does love it (thank god), but the main issue is that we’ll be working on training, he’ll take the treat/reward and start to play with it rather than eat 🤦🏼♀️
It detracts and distracts him from training and then I’m stuck with wondering what to do on how to move forward!
If he does end up being only play motivated, does anyone have resources or success stories with play training?
(Boyfriend and I did just get a bunch of treats to try, but he struggles to eat them in one bite even if I break them up. He would rather drop it and then eat on his own time)
