Would a blow-drier reduce matts?

Our cocker spaniel has a tendency to develop matts after getting wet – e.g. after bathing her.

We currently towel dry as best we can, and use a dog towel gown thing that she can wear for a bit which helps her dry off.

However, I’m wondering if getting her dry quicker would reduce matts, and thus if one of the dog blow-dry things would make a significant difference?

If so, any recommendations or things to look for? I’m seeing them ranging from 1800-3200W (claimed power – Don’t know if that’s accurate as they’re kinda no-name brands) on Amazon, around £50-75.
