Hi! I have a 3 yr old shar pei mix and a few days ago he started acting strange. in the mornings, we let him jump up on our bed once the sun comes up so he can cuddle with us for an hour. the other day he was hesitant to jump up and once he half did (front paws on bed) and started whimpering and ran back to his bed. of course my husband and i checked him all over to see if anything appeared wrong. there didn’t seem to be and he ate breakfast as normal that day and wanted to play. yesterday morning he got into bed like normal and last night he ran in and leaped in bed. this morning, he is seeming as if it’s painful to come up again.
i’m thinking he it might be behavioral for attention but worried because he seems like he may be in pain. lmk what you think
