We've been looking to adopt a dog for a while now and I always have mixed feelings when I visit shelters and see the animals there. And the longer it goes on the more unsure I am on whether we should keep looking.
So I was wondering, for people who’ve adopted, when you were looking for your dog, what emotion hit you the strongest?
Excited and hopeful?
Sad for the dogs?
Guilty not taking certain dogs?
