I have a 10 month old rough collie who is the love of my life, but dang she has been getting on my nerves! Weirdly enough, I found the first several months much easier. She was a menace but she was so small and portable and she slept all the time. I have a complete demon now! I thought I could finally give her some unsupervised time, and she takes that time as an opportunity to be super destructive. She gets two 20 minute walks daily, plus lots of play (tug o war, fetch, flirt pole), and brain games. She also has access to a large yard where she gets zoomies like crazy! I redirect her when she chews on things but that barely seems to help. Maybe helps for 3 seconds and she’s back to the couch or whatever it may be. Any advice would be great, but also just some reassurance that it does get better and they do naturally get through this “destroy everything” phase! I’m about to put this girl in doggy daycare a few times a week even though I work from home because I just need some peace!😅
