My 6 month old poodle puppy wants attention literally 24/7. If he isn't sleeping, he wants to play. And if I disengage with him for a minute to check on a bill or answer a text, he finds something destructive to do like ripping up the furniture or playing in his water dish or barking or biting me. We're working on the leave it command, I imagine that'll help when he gets better with it, but when can I actually leave the puppy alone to play with himself for a bit? I don't mean leave the house, I just mean be in the same room but doing my own thing. Is this my life until he's a year or more?
