When did your puppies start cuddling you?

I love cuddling. I love all things positively physical. One thing I don’t love is that my 9 month old puppy won’t cuddle me.

Unless I’m petting him, he won’t cuddle 😭 A few nights ago, I was petting him, and took TWO SECONDS to scratch my butt. I literally looked back down and he was already out the door. All I saw was his little tail fading away.

I typically feel bad, but unless we’re doing something, my puppy prefers to be out of the way. I completely understand wanting to be alone, but dang. He never even takes a short nap with me 😭😭 My other puppy loved taking naps with me.

Does cuddling ever happen, or will this be my life forever?
