Hi all,
We have a ~9wk old pup that's been with us for a week. She gets the toilet (down to maybe one accident per day), settles into sleep with some proximity and overall is really improving a little bit each day.
The one thing we have not yet figured out though, is separation. We are getting to a point where after some initial clawing and scratching, she self-settles as long we're in view, but the moment we break line of sight, it's instant cries and barks. I've tried the whole open / close the door thing, but not much improvement.
What's a good schedule and method to start training her on being alone for brief periods of time?
