Got our boy 4 days ago. Hes a 12.5 week old chihuahua. I’d researched, have had adult chihuahuas and felt prepared. I would not have a badly behaved dog.
What should my expectations for him be? He got my cue word for being picked up, is having very minimal potty accidents. He’s sleeping with us but I hope to daytime crate train starting soon. If that doesn’t work, I’ll crate train fully.
I tried to get him to sit, come, stay etc. he does a great job of getting in his bed when I’m not holding him but nothing else. Should I expect much beyond crate training and potty training at this age?
