What are some things/items that you add to your washer or dryer that actually work to collect or get hair of laundry?

I've been looking at things on Amazon and other places that claim that when you put this or that item in with the wash or dryer, it helps collect the hair and get it off fabrics and blankets instead of it getting caught in the drain filter of the washer or just sticking to the laundry itself. Does anyone have any tips or know ones that actually work for them? One thing I read you can do before you wash a blanket with a lot of hair on it is put it in the dryer no heat fluff for a couple of times and that gets a lot of the hair out, and it kinda works.
