Hi all! My 7 month old White Swiss shepherd seems to really be pushing the boundaries right now and until 2 days ago we walked him 90% of the time off lead as he would stay next to us and when he did go off to explore his recall was perfect, would come back 100% of time, first time we worked really hard to get to this level.
2 days ago he decided he wasn’t going to listen anymore and wouldn’t come back at all, we gave him a second chance the next day and the same disregard for the command happened. I know at this age they do try and push boundaries to see what they can get away with.
We usually do 2×15 minute training sessions a day for various different commands (recall, down, middle, and heel) do you think at this age this needs to be stepped up?
Any advice appreciated.
