We’re getting a puppy! Little guy will be home at the start of Christmas break, and I’ll be home with him for 3 weeks. I asked my Mom if he could stay with her 2 days a week when I return to work (the other days would have a midday visit). She suggested he come the first week every day, then 4 days the next, 3 days the next, and so on. My Mom is great at taking direction and will 100% follow the schedule and guidelines I give her. Is there any reason not to do this? Will it confuse him in any way? Also wondering if a crate is a crate and I can get one for each location, or should I plan on trucking one crate back and forth?
