I really like this mixed breed terrier from a local rescue but he is 5 years old . I'm concerned he may be too old. I don't know when health issues normally start, Is he too old to adopt from the rescue? I think these small terrier mix live 13_17y?
How old is too old? Am I taking a risk by adopting an older dog like this? He's only 16 lb and relatively healthy as of now… Please advise….as I was looking to get a young adult.
