Hullo! Where I live in the summer it gets stupid hot. To the point it’d be unsafe to get a dogs exercise in during the day, there are many dog friendly pools and beaches however near me which would be amazing for keeping him active during summer. I’d like to start as young as possible (he’s 10 weeks) but given that he’s not yet fully vaxxed so I don’t want to teach him to swim in the dog friendly pools near me, not to mention unpredictable dogs that would be around.
Would it be safe to teach the basics and get him comfortable in a bathtub? We’ve got a decent sized one and he’s a mini poodle so that’d quite a bit of space.
