my 16 week old puppy went to the vet today to get her last vaccination but she’s due for her second round of lepto in 2 weeks. i’ve been patiently waiting for the time to take her outside for potty training/socialize but the vet technician recommended I wait another 2 weeks until she gets her final lepto shot. I asked her about the risk of parvo in my area and she said lepto cases are more frequent than parvo due to rats but I will not be taking her for long walks, just outside my apartment to potty. Do you think it’s still a risk and I should just wait it out until she’s 18 weeks?
