Success?! The crate is doing its job!?

My 8.5 week old lab/retriever/pit mix is learning all kinds of things. Today he was being watched by my family while I was working. He disappeared and went quiet which of course means he's probably doing something concerning 😂 so there they are frantically looking for him, and then he was FOUND…He put himself in his kennel in our room (he Has deemed our room his safe space) HE WAS IN HIS KENNEL NAPPING BY HIMSELF ON HIS OWN VOLITION. I was so proud I cried😂 he's learning that the crate is a place of rest and warmth. (We have a heating pad) In there. That achievement alone was so encouraging to KEEP GOING. Puppies are so rude but gosh those moments make it so worth it. I'm so proud 😭
