My female corgi is 6 months old now and sleeps through the night, has done since we got her home tbh it was a blessing. She sleeps in a crate in my bedroom as it’s not feasible for her to be downstairs.
However, as I am currently watching her snore away (after waking me up btw) I was wondering: Did anyone ever transition to leaving the crate door open overnight? How did that go? Was there any accidents etc?
I’m unsure on whether to start this or not with my girl. She does get hot of a night so wondering if having access to the cool wooden floor might help her. Guess I am just worried about accidents even though she is capable of holding all night – don’t want to undo any potty training!
