I have a 6 month old puppy and generally he’s a good dog. Hes potty trained, he sleeps in his crate for 12+ hours. He does have some bad puppy behavior, he chewed on my wall (fixed) chewed up a corner of my couch pretty good, and has been tearing up grass. He’s pretty bitey and barks/jumps but I know this is puppy behavior.
My husband is not happy though and feels like our life has changed too much. He did not grow up with dogs so I think maybe this is part of the reason that he’s having trouble. I understand he’s feeling towards the bad behavior. I don’t know if this is just puppy blues that’s lasting 3+ months now.
What can I say or do to help him understand that this puppy behavior only lasts a few months and then we can go back to our normal lives. Or is it better to just rehome him?
