Shih-poo rescue, approx. 10 months old potty training trouble.

My wife and two young boys recently adopted a roughly 10 month old Shih-poo, she is adorable and has been fitting in with our family perfectly. Potty training is our biggest issue. She has almost no tell. Sometimes she will go stand by the door, other times she just goes. During the day we have figured out a strategy that works at least 80-90% of the time, take her out on a schedule regularly and crate her when we aren't home. We have no effective strategy for the night. We are lucky she won't go in her crate for 5 plus hours, but the rest of the house is fair game. The problem is we can't crate her at night, because she will scream all night long and keep the boys awake. We also want her to be able to free roam like our other dog does. For context, our other dog is a 50 lb heeler mix and he can go up to 10 hours without having an accident in the house and is very well trained. I have tried to implement a plan where I take her out right before bed and as soon as I wake up, and I only sleep about 6 hours from midnight to 6 am every night. I have also tried to wake up in the middle of the night at least once to take her out then as well. Every time she goes potty I give her a treat, but inevitably every time I wake up, there are surprises on the floor waiting for me. I reached my wits end this morning. last night before bed I let her out, she pooped, I rewarded, then in the middle of the night I let her out, she pooped, I rewarded. I woke up at six and found poop in my son's room and in the living room and pee in my bedroom floor.

Any advice is welcome.
