I have a 4.5 month old Border Collie / Poodle mix. She has suddenly become obsessed with shadows (hers and mine) and her own reflection. Is there a good way to help her through this stage or is it just going to go away. She’ll chase her own shadow and is a little bit aggressive when she sees her own reflection not growling but just pounces at it. There is a mirror at the end of my hall and I am a little worried about her pouncing at it too hard. I’ve placed a stool in front of it so she can still see the reflection but can’t get at the mirror itself except by carefully poking her head through the stool legs.
Thoughts / advice?
