Hi
I have an American shepherd, she’s 2 and recently sterilised.
I had her while I was not working and depressed and she clearly changed my life.
She goes to dog school since puppy age and she is relatively well behaved (except sometimes for bikes and stuff like that).
But I have an enormous problem with her : she is clearly really possessive with me and barks when I pet others dogs (and try to push them away) or when I hug my niblings she barks at me and try to separate us…
I don’t know how to work this out… I’ve tried giving her treats when I hug my nephew and she just barks with her mouth full…
Do you have any idea ? (Btw she is not agressive with the niblings but can show teeth if a dog jumps on me ..)
