Just rescued a 9mo puppy and she doesn’t really eat. If I leave food in her crate when I go to work it is gone when I get back but she rarely eats from her bowl or from my hand. Doesn’t seem to show much interest in treats, peanut butter, yogurt, etc. I don’t want to leave all her food for the day in her crate for her to eat in one sitting but I also don’t want her to not get enough calories. Right now I am just putting some of her extra/saved up/not eaten yet food in kongs/towls/enrichment and leaving in her crate while I go to work but that isn’t sustainable nor is it as much as she should be eating.
She is definitely still getting used to my home and routine so hopefully she figures out to eat on her own but any helpful tips are appreciated
