Rescue dog and bonding

Rescued a dog from some pretty extreme living conditions. Multiple dogs, underweight, seems to have not been getting fed individually and also sleeping where peeing. Very scared of everything, both me and my bf… like terrified. It’s been a couple weeks. Dog has come to love my bf. Will sit on his lap/ wag tail around him, give him belly, let him approach. But he still will not budge around me. Even barks at me sometimes when I’ve entered a room where just him and my bf have been for some time. I understand he has trauma and maybe even towards women. I don’t push affection and if he walks away or runs from me I don’t chase, I avoid eye contact let him sniff my hand before I attempt to pet. But it’s not improving at all. It kinda hurts my feelings watching my bf growing with him and bonding and I’m being rejected. It doesn’t help bf will kinda snap when I try to approach the new dog and say I need to give him space and then just give him so much affection right after. Our other dog and him get along also, and our other dog loves me so much. Idk what to do to help him like me or trust me. Plz help me
