My medium poodle is now almost 7 months. We have been working really hard on loose leash walking and still are. We had finally gotten to the point where I could take her for longer forest hikes on a long line that were actually pleasant, recall was getting good, etc.
Seemingly overnight she regressed a lot with regards to walks. She’s now pulling again and getting frustration zoomies when I don’t let her pull. Walks have gone from nice, positive experiences to being frustrating for both of us. I try to stay positive and tell myself that it will get better, but it’s hitting me hard as I was really enjoying our walks together. I guess I just need reassurance that this type of regression is normal and that it will go back to how it was if we keep training.
