My little lab pup is 10 weeks old and has been doing well with house training. We've been religious in taking him out but haven't had any accidents in over a week. Today I was working at the table and heard him whimper a tiny bit, just ignored it as he'd been out 20 minutes before and done two pees. Walked over five minutes later and he'd peed by the door. I felt SO bad. He had tried to tell me he needed to go out and I was so carried away with my work, I just ignored him.
I am knackered, although he's a great pup, the disrupted sleep and constant attention needs is wearing and I'm really hauling myself over the coals for this accident, I feel like it could have been a really positive moment – if only i'd listened to him!
Not sure why I'm posting this, I'm just tired and going mildly insane. Hopefully you guys are feeling the same so I'm not completely alone in my insanity haha!
