We have a 7 month beagle hound lab mix pup and he is so amazing and learning to listen well but he is awful about chewing. I know it’s part of the process (we have a 3 year old lab) but he is exceptional! We gave him a nylabone (oof I know, they make me nervous) and he just pulled pieces off and unlike our lab doesn’t spit them out so we took that away. He destroys a pork chomp in about 15 minutes. He nibs through tough fabric toys tho I taught him not to eat the stuffing he has decided he can eat the “skin”. I’m so freaked out about compacted bowels..what do you do about your heavy chewer?
