My puppy is soon to be 5 months and she was trained to do her needs on the pads in our apartment because she was only able to go out after her vaccines, 3 weeks ago. For the past month she has started to do her needs in random spots around the house and even in her cage!
We don't lock her in her cage, we just use it as an alternative bed and place where she usually plays with her toys and even takes some food in. This was the main frustration/point of concern for us since we thought she wouldn't pee in the places she eats/plays. Sometimes she has zoomies and I think she may have accidents but they are frequent (once per day in her cage and once or more in some place random).
We take her out like 3 or 4 times a day now but she pees way more often since she is young still and can't hold herself. It's become so frustrating to monitor the floor and cage all the time so if anyone has tips on how to handle these situations I would appreciate it! Thank you!
