Puppy only wants to sleep with me, and not play as much

hello!

my puppy is a 17 week old pitty mix, and i live with a roommate.

im currently unable to work because of health and i do online school, so im home all day all week with my puppy, and i take her to run some errands with me. she isnt fully vaccinated and i live in a larger city with a large wildlife population so shes not outside potty trained and doesnt go on walks (yet) but she uses the pee pad just fine. anyways, since im home alone with her most of the day im the one providing care for her, playing when she is feeling like it and when shes napping she comes to me. when my roommate is home, she always wants to play with him and then he goes to work and she will be playful and active for a little while after, but then will just fall asleep. i dont know if its because i "boss" her around too much or if im the one providing care for her so she feels safe around me or WHAT but i just wanna play with her when i feel good but she wants to sleep, a lot around me! i know shes a puppy and she sleeps in the bed with me for about 5-8 hours depending on how much sleep im getting, and i know puppies her age need a lot of sleep. i just wish she was more playful with me and wanted to act silly and be herself around me! i dont know if its because i scold her or for doing naughty things (like eating books and wires) or if its because she views me as a primary caregiver. i dont know! i need HELP i miss her personality!! shes such a sweet and lovey puppy and i miss her playful side like when we got her as a 2 month old!
