Puppy nipping during play and training sessions

Hi all,

I really need some help with my sprocker spaniels biting and nipping!

She’s nearly 17 weeks and her biting is getting quite intense, I have used a kong, toys and chews but nothing seems to stick. I’ve tried a firm no, putting her in her crate and leaving the room too.

When I’m trying to have some “playtime” or simply sit in her playpen with her, she gets super excited runs around and nips at my hands, ankles and she’s just ripped my trousers! I’ve made an extra effort to make sure shes getting her naps in, sometimes forced.

I do training activities with her in between her naps or before feeding her and she sometimes gets nippy after a few minutes.

I’m starting to think I’m not doing enough 🥲

Any suggestions would be great thanks!
