My girlfriend and I have a 10 week old golden retriever and have been struggling to do our everyday life tasks with the puppy around. Puppy has to be able to touch us otherwise she barks and freaks out. She is crate trained but only if the crate is in the other room and she cannot see us. We have her locked in our hallway style kitchen that is the main portion of the apartment. We are unable to sit on the couch and have her play alone without freaking out. This leaves us sitting on the floor or standing in the kitchen and unable to do the things we need to do. She can play by herself if she has the option to touch us but the second we are out of reach it’s game over.
