Puppy energy and crate management

My Dachshund is 10 weeks old and I am trying to balance working from home with a puppy who has a lot of energy and barks and cries.

I’m lucky enough that if she’s tired or I put her in a crate sometimes she settles however a lot of the time she doesn’t. I make sure that I’ve taken her out to try and go to the toilet before putting her in and make sure I played with her each time.

But my main question is while working from home, what schedule should I follow for great time during the day? How long? How many times and do I have to play with her every single time before I put her in or am I overthinking and being too soft with her

I know that some people go to work from 9 to 5 so the dogs are alone the whole time so I think I’m not putting her in enough but I have no idea how to balance it.

While I’m working downstairs, I do let her run around the house quite a lot during the day. I don’t know if I’m doing this too much or not.
