Puppy class costs 💲🐕?

I need to know whats reasonable or if I'm getting sucked in.

My pup passed their beginner class a couple weeks ago and is about 8 months old (just shy).

We're looking at additional classes in our semi-rural area and most are ~ $350m our issue is that most are for dogs older, for skills we just graduated for, or requiring other pre-requisite courses.

We'd have to wait until June for most of these. (And for the school we just graduated from as well).

My dog has pretty good basics. But Id like help with jumping up on new people, leash training and recall when outside/excited.

Theres a private trainer who's offering 8 50 min sessions for just shy of 1000 taxes in. They have credentials like a masters in animal behaviour and some other qualifications. Lots of positive reviews on their testimonials page. Payment plans available.

Is this insane? I havent seen other private class rates, as theyre generally not posted. But I'd like to get other owners takes.
