I feel like I’m still waiting for that bond to happen? We adopted a pub about 3 months ago when he was 9 weeks from a shelter. He’s been a touchy few months but things are feeling more manageable now. That said, idk that I feel a bone. I know it not fair to put this on him, but I have a family dog who I’m very bonded too and remember feeling an immense love for even during the tougher times of puppyhood. Right now, with him, I feel obligated to him. He doesn’t lack for anything, but the care give to him feels out of obligation as opposed to love.
Not to mention I don’t think he likes me. He doesnt want to cuddle, only bite. He snaps at me when I tell him no. I’m just tired.
