I'm getting an English Shepherd puppy this spring, and I'm looking to get a front or back pack to put her in so she can come with me even when she's tired of walking while I'm working on the farm or going hiking. I think a front pack would interfere with my ability to work or climb up a steep slope, so I'm leaning towards a back pack.
Do you have any recommended brands or styles (like legs hanging out or tucked in)? From hiking with a heavy pack I know I prefer something with a waist strap.
Does anyone know how big a puppy would be at 9 weeks with an estimated adult size of 40-50 lbs? I'm having a difficult time figuring out what size of back pack to get.
