Puppy 9 months regressions

Hiya, I hope I’m writing it the right category here and you guys can help with some advice or just can relate to the same issues I’m having. For the context, I’m 38 and had a husky female before.

Okay so we have a 9mo tamaskan male (wolfdog mix) and we have him from when he was 2mo. There has been only pain and suffering from the beginning and just now when things started to improve a bit he regressed and we’re back to the bottom. The breed is prone to SA and we’ve been aware of that, trying to train from the beginning, he has his own pen where he can now relax during the day and during night he sleeps in a crate on a hallway. We trained the alone time with a camera and tried to never let him spiral into panic, so he gradually built confidence. So far so good, we have come to the point where he could already be left alone for about 5 hours, he slept in his pen, relaxed, got up, shifted positions and fallen back to sleep, it all looked so great. Now about 2 weeks ago he suddenly doesn’t feel okay anymore, he either gets anxious right after he’s put into pen and can’t relax or he falls asleep and then he wakes up after half an hour all alert and starts howling, tries to settle, doesn’t succeed and back to howling, scanning, settling attempts etc. It’s like somebody just switched something on in his head and he doesn’t feel safe anymore idk. Besides all this, the standard adolescence sneaked in, with all alone time training he didn’t even get accomodated to house cats, still trying to chase them after being in the same house for more than 6m. I’m at my wit’s end, I feel like I’m not myself anymore, our marriage is falling apart, I’m crying daily because I feel like he’s taken my life away from me and honestly, I don’t feel like we ever bonded properly as he’s been a constant burden to us, and I hate myself for saying that…I thought I know a lot about dogs given that we had a husky before but this has been like a completely different story. Can anybody help with any advice, ideas or just similar stories? Will this pass and is just a phase and how to work through it?
