Prevent separation anxiety while also keeping her close

So I just adopted a 6 week old puppy who was left abandoned after her mom was ran over (stray). I'm getting her used to being in a crate/play pen for a few minutes at a time and taking her out for potty breaks every 1-2 hours.

I only work on the weekends and do online classes on the weekdays and my boyfriend is off on the weekends so our schedules work fine. The only thing is on the weekdays I doordash for extra income and sometimes I'm gone for like 4+ hours at a time.

I bought a sling and a car seat to bring her with me on the dashes as well as outings where I'll be gone longer than an hour or two. My only concern is I dont want her to become so used to mommy time that she doesn't train well for her crate. I know shes just a baby right now and is basically a walking whining potato who stinks but I like to plan for the future.

Please let me know how I should go about this with her, I haven't had a puppy in years and have only delt with adolescent and adult animals so this puppy thing is super new to me.
